Animal Consideration Pledge
Put your hand over your heart and say:
"On my honor as a decent and truthful person, I pledge to act humanely and considerately toward all animals... even the ugly ones."
We think that all animals are beautiful... even the ugly ones. But we realize that not everybody can see the beauty hidden in a lumpy old toad. Please be kind to them anyway, even if you think they're ugly.
After you have taken the pledge, making a personal commitment to act humanely toward all animals, you may download the Amphibian Orchard Seal of Commitment and display it on your personal website or social media page. You will also become eligible to order a personalized seal from our store, inscribed with your name and the date of your pledge.
AmphibiFan Blog
We created the AmphibiFan blog to highlight the vast diversity of amphibians and their habitats around the world.
Much of the information about amphibians online focuses on the negative. While shrinking amphibian populations are indeed very concerning to us, we think it's a shame that these amazing animals are overshadowed by so much negativity. AmphibiFan is a place where we can focus on appreciating amphibians and celebrating their marvelous adaptations and behaviors. There are plenty of other sites where you can learn about the threats to amphibians, but we're purposefully reserving AmphibiFan for celebrating amphibians in their own right.

Taking care of animals can be tricky! Obviously, we can learn a lot about biology by taking care of animals, but did you know you also need to learn about chemistry, math, and physics in order to properly care for animals? What better way to learn about math, biology, chemistry and physics than by taking care of animals?
